Lead Driver

The lead driver is responsible for safely delivering KDS products and parts to the final destination. He or she will provide white-glove service to all sites with the utmost care and consideration for the location and the merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26' Truck
• Load and unload cabinets / make cabinet deliveries
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Have a clear understanding of the KDS Process & the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Lift heavy boxes
• Load and unload trucks including materials up to 40 pounds
• Electronically provide photo proof of completed deliveries
• Upload packing list & JSF to Basecamp
• Deliver the Cabinet Installation Packet with all deliveries
• Assist with all daily to-do’s
• Provide training to the Driver’s Assistant

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Works well with team
• Commercial driver's license
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
