Mark Bouy of Bouy Brothers Builders was recently installed as President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Savannah (HBA). Bouy was installed by his brother Brett and his father Troy Bouy, who previously served as the 1964 President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Savannah. The ceremony took place at The Savannah Golf Club with over 100 guests, family and friends in attendance.
Bouy carries on the family tradition of homebuilding as a second generation builder. Mark and his brother, Brett have been building homes in the Greater Savannah area since 1983. They take pride in the homes they build ensuring quality meets and exceeds standards. The Bouy Brothers have developed communities such as The Cottages at Causton Bluff, Village of Wild Heron, Cottages at Autumn Lake and the Village at Autumn Lake. They have built a total of 437 new homes in their career.
Mark Bouy currently serves as a Director for the Home Builders Association of Georgia and the National Association of Home Builders. He has served on the local HBA Board of Directors for the past 10 years and served on the Executive Board for the past 4 years. He is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University and resides in Savannah with his son, Matthew and twin daughters, Willa and Mayme.
Other Officers installed at the annual event were Kevin Kirsch of Kevin Kirsch New Homes as Vice President, Candler Wilson of Beacon Builder as Secretary/Treasurer and Byron Loomis of Yates Astro as the Associate Vice President. John Mowry of Homes of Integrity was installed as the President for the Bryan County Chapter and Meagan Mowry, also of Homes of Integrity was installed at the Chairman of the Sales & Marketing Council.
Board Members for the Greater Savannah HBA, Bryan County Chapter, Effingham County Chapter, Sales & Marketing Council were also installed at the event.
Tracey Burdette of Fidelity Bank Mortgage received the Woody Woodward Memorial Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions by an Associate member. Meagan Mowry of Homes of Integrity was recognized as the Sales & Marketing Council’s member of the year and Presidential Awards were presented to Patty Rietkovich, Mark Bouy, Kevin Kirsch & Candler Wilson by outgoing President, Mark Konter.
