2026 HBA Founders Scholarship Fund

The Founders Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization that is part of our local HBA. We contribute to students annually who are pursuing a degree directly related to the building industry. There are two types of applications.

1) For current High School Seniors who plan to enroll in College in the Fall of 2026 and

2) Current College Students. The Founders Scholarship Committee awards scholarships based on merit, financial need and field of study.

Lewis Cenker Scholarship

Lewis Cenker was an Atlanta builder and lawyer who served as President of NAHB (the National Association of Home Builders) in 1974. He is the only Georgian to have served in that position. He was a founding member of HBAG (the Home Builders Association of Georgia) in 1955 and served as their president in 1969. He also served as the president of the Greater Atlanta HBA in 1960.
